Pastor Seth Bianchini
Pastor Seth and his wife April are both natives of Carencro. Seth came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 28, and April surrendered her life to Christ not long after. His journey to faith was shaped by years spent away from home—leaving at 17 to pursue a lifestyle of rebellion that eventually left him broken. Those difficult years produced in him a deep compassion for teens and young adults who feel drawn toward destructive paths.
Soon after his conversion, Seth felt called to minister to young people and help them see that a better path is found only in following Christ. He served for seven years as the bi‑vocational youth minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Lafayette, LA, during which time he also began seminary studies at Leavell College.
In 2013, he accepted a full‑time youth pastor position at Bethel Baptist Church in Jennings, LA, where he served faithfully for five years. During that season, God stirred in him a renewed desire to return to the foundations of Christianity—simple discipleship, genuine community, and deep study of God’s Word.
This desire eventually led Seth to step outside the traditional church building and begin meeting with his family and a few close friends, focusing on Scripture and learning how to apply its truth to everyday life. That small gathering quickly grew, and lives were being transformed through intentional discipleship and authentic fellowship.
As the group matured, Seth began praying and seeking God’s direction for himself and for these disciples, asking how they could faithfully reproduce the life of Christ in others. In December 2024, God opened the door for Pastor Seth, his family, and these men and women to begin ministering at First Baptist Church of Carencro, where they continue to pursue Christ-centered discipleship and gospel transformation.
